W﻿hat is the Metaverse? Where do we find it? Why should we be there? How do we monetize it?T﻿hese are the questions that we will be exploring with a lineup of experts and developers who specialize in the many ways to access the Metaverse. There will be speakers, workshops, and live demonstrations in the Busch Student Center.<a href="https://techstl.com/techweek-exploring-the-metaverse/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">D﻿etailed Agenda on the Website.</a>TechWeek Events at SLUExploring the Metaverse is part of a network of programs held on campus at SLU from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM that includes the following:<ul><li><a href="https://techstl.com/techweek-exploring-the-metaverse/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Exploring the Metaverse</a></li><li><a href="https://techstl.com/geospatial-demonstration-at-tgi/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">G﻿eospatial Demonstration at TGI</a></li><li><a href="https://techstl.com/techweek-3d-printing-tours-at-cam/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">3﻿D Printing Tours at SLU&#x27;s CAM</a></li><li>L﻿unch will be served in the Busch Student Center</li></ul>P﻿arkingVisitor parking is available near SLU Campus at the Laclede Garage (intersection of Laclede and Grand) and the Olive-Compton Garage (intersection of Olive and Compton); metered street parking is also available around campus.F﻿inding the VenueFrom the Laclede Garage, walk north on Grand Boulevard to the main crosswalk, indicated by brick pavers and a stoplight on Grand. Turn right and walk across Grand. The Busch Student Center is the first building on your right, where you will enter the door and walk forward past the staircase. The event will be hosted in rooms 253 &amp; 251 which are located on the left of the Student Center.TechWeek Fundraiser - H﻿elp us Diversify STEM in St. LouisWhile all events are free, STL TechWeek 2023 is a fundraiser for the TechSTL STEM Scholarship Fund. Upon registration you will have the opportunity to make a tax deductible contribution to the Scholarship Fund, managed by the St. Louis Community Foundation. 100% of the contributions will be donated to the Fund to support diverse residents of the MSA obtaining local tech education opportunities.
