Exploring the Essentials of Child Development
If you are a BFEN Coordinator, Welcome Baby Visitor, a Parent-Child Playgroup Facilitator, or a Parent Screener supporting parents as a child’s first teacher, or a family childcare provider or teach in a center-based program, then this session is for you! Whether you are new to your role or are experienced, you will want to look at a child’s development through the lenses shared by these presenters! Boston Opportunity Agenda’s Every Child Ready team is partnering with Boston Family Engagement (BFEN) to present this session, as a follow-up to previous sessions on foundational elements for children’s learning and how effective observations of children’s play can be used to support parents as their child’s primary educator.
