Join us for a free virtual art event where you will be introduced to Neurographic Art.

Join us for a virtual art session (using Zoom), where you will be introduced to Neurographic Art. Get hands-on and learn how the process of "doing" can create mindfulness and peace through a series of lines, swoops and colours. Facilitators: Doris and VeronicaTech Support: Janko Who can attend this free event?Brain injury survivors / caregivers How do I get the materials I need to participate?The BIALR will provide all materials at no cost to participants. You will be asked for your mailing address at registration. Materials will be sent the "right to your door" by Canada Post, before the date of the program. What is neurographic art?Also known as doodling, neurographic art is a technique, which comprises drawing freeform lines or 'neuro lines. These are meant to enable the connection between the conscious and unconscious, gaining access to the inner self by using a specific algorithm or method. The number of participants is limited in order to better control the working environment, reduce stimulation and help ensure that everyone can receive the support they need from the facilitators. Registration will be first come first service. Code of ConductBIA London Region is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants, instructors and volunteers.All those who attend are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct. The Brain Injury Association reserves the right to remove participants from virtual programs if they are in violation of the Code of Conduct in order to create a safe and successful virtual program experience for all.The Brain Injury Association has zero tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, abusive or foul language towards other participants, instructors and/or volunteers. Participants are expected to:i) Show respect to all participants, instructors and volunteers;- Treat participants, instructors, and volunteers the way you would want to be treated.- Be considerate and honour the feelings, and opinions of others ii) Exhibit appropriate behaviour for virtual programming;- Be mindful of how statements, language, jokes, and tone can all be interpreted differently online; avoid sarcasm.- Listen while others are speaking.- Raise your hand prior to speaking, unless otherwise specified by the instructor. Using this signal will show that you are listening. iii) Help create a safe and confidential space;- Our virtual programs are safe spaces. We ask that you hold all conversations confidential to recognize the sensitivity of others’ comments. Please demonstrate respect for everyone's dignity, confidentiality and capacity to contribute. iv) Refrain from delivering critical feedback during programs;- We ask that you please provide feedback by email or through feedback surveys provided after sessions.
