Our South Africa 2024 tour will take you to two of its most popular cities: Cape Town and Johannesburg, as well as its most famous safari reserve, Kruger National Park. You’ll spend 11 days and 10 nights taking in the sights and sounds of Africa’s southernmost country.
Your tour will start in South Africa’s largest city, Johannesburg – aka Jozi , Joburg and the City of Gold. There you will explore the city to see famous landmarks and museums and immerse yourself in the rich culture. You’ll also visit Soweto, Joburg’s largest township and the heart of its apartheid struggle.
Next, you’ll move on to Mpumalanga province where you’ll go on safari and see the Big 5 in their natural surroundings, visit Africa’s oldest caves, and see its biggest green canyon.
Lastly, you’ll head to the beautiful Cape Town, also known as the Mother City. You’ll tour the city and learn about its apartheid history and freedom struggles. You’ll see Robben Island, the infamous prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for nearly 20 years for challenging the apartheid system. You’ll shop for African art, jewelry, clothing and more at Green Market Square. You’ll experience wine tastings in the Cape Winelands region, set eyes upon some of the most stunning vistas imaginable along the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, see South Africa’s adorable colony of African penguins, and visit Cape Point, the most southwestern point on the African continent. Your time will end at our Farewell Dinner Party, where you’ll celebrate one last time ahead of your departure home. Come join us for a great time in South Africa.
