The EXPLORE: Power Hour dance workshop invites residents of all ages to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of fusion (July 8) and hip hop (Aug 5 & Sept 9) dance. What is fusion? A fun mix of Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and a little bit of Salsa–whew! But don’t worry, it’s totally beginner friendly.
Come expecting to groove, grow, sweat, and celebrate! It’s going to be a great time.
Led by experienced instructors, participants will learn foundational techniques, explore creative expression, and develop their own unique style. This workshop provides a supportive environment for all ages to connect, express, and grow as you delve into learning aspects of various rhythms.

TaCora is a proud Northwest School of the Arts alumna who continued studying Graham Modern technique in Charlotte, NC. She has taught at The Worship Movement since 2019. Her goal: to inspire dancers of all capabilities to be free in their movement.
August 5 and September 9 | 6pm-7pm | Instruction by Michael Mojica
Michael went from sports jock to thespian late in high school then began dancing with companies within Dallas Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. Michael maintained his dance background while in college at CFNI and Youth for the Nations becoming the creative arts and dance director. Michael continued teaching dance classes with CFNI events post-graduation. Michael is also an Event DJ/ sound tech for many of the shows for Dear Soul Music Company. Michael is looking forward to bringing his technical expertise and sharpening your skills within the hip hop genre of dance : gliding, isolation, and popping are his specialty!
