MetrumRG will be hosting a one-day hands-on workshop before the PAGE Congress on Tuesday, June 25 on MeRGE (the Metrum Research Group Ecosystem). MeRGE is a suite of freely-available, open-source tools for traceable, reproducible, and scalable pharmacometric workflows.
MetrumRG’s R package ecosystem includes:
- Metrum Package Network (MPN)/pkgr: curated R package environment
- bbi/bbr: user-friendly interface for R and NONMEM®
- bbr.bayes: Bayesian modeling extension with Stan and NONMEM®
- yspec: data specifications, wrangling, documentation
- pmplots: exploratory and diagnostic plots
- pmforest: forest plots for pharmacometrics
- mrggsave: labeling, arranging, saving figures
- pmtables: tables for pharmacometrics
- lastdose: calculate last dose amount, time since previous doses
Objectives
- Introduction to the individual MeRGE tools and packages and how they interconnect
- Demonstration of package use for scalability and reproducibility in project set-up, data assembly, data exploration, model development & evaluation, simulation, and reporting
- Hands on exercises to allow participants to gain experience in the MeRGE commands and navigating an example population PK workflow
- Identification of resources for additional learning
Requirements for Attendees
- Knowledge and experience in PK modeling and the use of R
- Laptop with Chrome or Safari browser
