We are excited to welcome nationally exhibiting Portland-based artist Ketzia Schoneberg for this Artist Talk and Materials Exploration. Learn the process behind Ketzia's artworks and experiment with her favorite materials. Attendees will be able to experiment with various materials and techniques on Yupo paper. Participants will walk away from this talk with a new perspective on common materials, and their very own work of art.


Event Highlights:

Artist Talk: This event will start with an Artist Talk by PMRCAA Resident Artist Ketzia Schoneberg.

Materials Exploration: Experiment and play with the materials Ketzia uses while creating her artworks. Some materials include wax pastels, grease pencils, and ink on Yupo Paper.

Technique Discovery: Ketzia will guide the audience in the techniques she uses when creating, with time for participants to experiment and utilize her techniques in the work they create.


All materials will be provided.

For ages 16 and older. Those under age 16 may attend accompanied by an adult.


About the Instructor:

Ketzia Schoneberg is a contemporary American artist whose mixed media paintings and drawings are exhibited nationally in galleries and museums. Her feminist autobiographical works combine elements culled from her active dream life, longstanding meditation practice, personal unconscious and familial background in her studio practice.


Cancellation Policy:

$20 cancellation fee

Less than 1 week before workshop: 0% refund

7-14 Days before workshop, 50% refund

Full refunds will be given if PMRCAA cancels the event due to inclement weather, or if the instructor cannot teach the workshop.
