Darshan, (to have a glimpse of) is used to describe the moment when we behold a deity, an Avatar, a saint or an Enlightened Being. A mere look from the eyes of the Avatar into the eyes of the disciple transmits the Cosmic energy from the Avatar into the disciple, allowing the disciple a transient experience of the entire Cosmos. Infusion of this energy results in quantum entanglement, and causes the neurons of the devotee to mirror the space of the Avatar, experiencing a glimpse of Enlightenment.
