Overview

Join us for an event to discuss opportunities and issues impacting boys and men of color in San Diego.

Dear Community Leaders and Partners,

Join California Funders for Boys and Men of Color for an exciting event aimed at expanding opportunities for boys and men of color in San Diego! We're partnering with the County of San Diego’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice, and Catalyst of San Diego and Imperial Counties for this in-person gathering at the Southeastern Live Well Center (5101 Market Street, San Diego) from 12pm-430pm. We're bringing together regional grantmakers, leaders, activists, and community-based organizations to discuss and address the unique challenges facing boys and men of color in San Diego.

Through an engaging presentation on the Life Course Framework presented by Arnold Chandler, leaders will be informed of the research and factors necessary to improve the health, educational and economic opportunities for boys and men of color over the course of their lives.

Join us as we work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable San Diego for boys and men of color. Thank you for helping us build power for a brighter future in San Diego!

Please RSVP by May 16

Please contact Chris Cooper, Program Officer with any questions at ccooper@sierrahealth.org or 916-291-3855, Program Associate Tairiq Marshall at tmarshall@sierrahealth.org

We will share more details on the final program and speakers in the coming weeks.
