About this event

Please join us on February 20th in Washington, DC for the Global City Teams Challenge (GCTC) winter gathering of the Utility SuperCluster.

JUST ANNOUNCED!!! Our featured guests at the Smart Cities SuperCluster Winter Gathering are Carnegie Mellon University's: Karen Lightman of Metro21: Smart Cities Institute and Anna J. Siefken of the Scott Institute for Energy Innovation.

The GCTC Utility SuperCluster focuses on sustainability challenges related to Energy, Water and Waste Management by bringing cities, counties, and municipalities together with technology solution providers, academia, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and associations to celebrate, share best practices and demonstrate world-class innovation.

The Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), and critical infrastructure sectors are becoming increasingly dependent on “smart” architectures and devices in fundamentally new ways. These technologies will enable cities and communities to improve services, promote economic growth, and enhance the quality of life, but also will require thoughtful risk mitigation.

Come meet, greet, and connect with key influencers across the public and private sectors who are leading efforts to meet these challenges. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be provided.

The GCTC Utility SuperCluster is delighted to co-host this event with the Technology & Innovation Pillar of the Dentons Global Smart Cities & Communities Think Tank.
