About this event

  • 15 hours 30 minutes

You are warmly invited to attend Wild Feasts; a series of outdoor, fine dining events from Ewhurst Park. A sit-down tasting menu immersed in nature, eating under the skies and surrounded by the sights and sounds of wildlife.

Enter through our market garden and arrive at our secluded Boathouse, hidden within the woodlands of our estate, the Boathouse is our beating heart. Overlooking the lake, the beauty of the space is surrounded by nature and open to the elements. Awaiting your arrival with a welcome wild-cocktail, using syrup made from our own foraged birch sap, our team will be ready to host you.

As our newfound guests, you will eat within our ancient, semi-natural woodlands – guided from the Boathouse by our rangers through the woodlands. The events will showcase seasonally-produced food from our estate, centred around food provenance and utilising the edible landscape around us. Dishes include luau-style meat using our own hand-reared livestock, organic vegetables from our market garden, and foraged ingredients picked from around the grounds. A curated selection of organic wines from our local supplier friends can also be paired with your meal; and there is also an opportunity to try our very own Wild Gin; distilled and created using our own estate-grown botanicals, small-batched for exceptional quality.

A post-meal tour gives you a chance to see how we're working with wildlife, rethinking our relationship with food, and for you to reconnect with nature and discover the land. The option to add a wild food foraging tour by one of our rangers can also be arranged before your meal.

Ewhurst Park is a 925 acre rural estate in Hampshire which has embarked on an estate wide biodiversity and sustainability project with the goal of restoring the land for nature, growing healthy and ethically produced organic food, and reconnecting people with nature and food provenance through community outreach and organised education, and hospitality events held on the estate. In collaboration with their sister restaurant The Good Plot in London's Notting Hill, Ewhurst Park is excited to announce this new outdoor dining series, and can’t wait to host you at the estate.
