How do I get to Denver Center for the Performing Arts?

If you are driving, navigate to the garage entrance using Google Maps (using 1352 Arapahoe Street as your navigation destination). The primary garage entrance is located on Arapahoe Street between 13th and 14th streets.

Official drop-off point for rideshare: 14th St. between Curtis and Champa.

Where do I park? Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Complimentary parking  for all attendees in the Arts Complex parking garage.  Parking is subject to availability.  Attendees will be provided a parking voucher at the Registration desk for use on garage exit.  Garage entrances are located on Arapahoe and 13th Street.

Where do I enter the Denver Center for the Performing Arts for evrē?

Accepted Answer

Event is located at the Seawell Grand Ballroom. There will be signage and staff directing you from the parking lot and greeting you at the doors.

Question 4

What is appropriate attire for the event?

Accepted Answer

Attendees are welcome to wear athleisure attire for working out/practicing yoga. Even if you do not plan to participate in any of the fitness classes or yoga sessions, you are still encouraged to come in comfortable, relaxed attire.

What if the weather that day is cold and snowy? Will I be able to change/put a coat somewhere?

Yes. Attendees will be able to store coats at the complementary coat check inside the Seawell Grand Ballroom entrance lobby.

Will there be changing rooms if I want to change after a fitness class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you will have access to various restrooms to change if desired.

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Eventbrite ticket available and waiver.    Shopping vendors will have items for sale, so you may want to bring a wallet/purse.  Wear appropriate apparel and footwear.  Bring a yoga mat if you plan to participate in fitness classes.

How long will the event last?

The doors open at 8 a.m. and the event will conclude at 1:30 p.m. You are welcome to tailor your day based on your interests and availability. Please see event schedule on the event website (https://www.uchealth.org/readysetco/evre/)

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you plan to participate in fitness classes, we kindly ask you to bring your own mat. We will not have mats available to borrow.

Is there childcare?

Accepted Answer

This event is for adult women (18 and up). There are no childcare services at DCPA so please make arrangements accordingly.

Question 11

I am currently breastfeeding my baby. Is there a location to pump while I’m at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A UCHealth Nursing Suite will be  located in the main lobby. You can bring your own small cooler to store your milk.

Question 12

Will there be food/beverages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light offerings (including vegan and gluten-free options) for breakfast, snacks and lunch will be available  for you to enjoy in the lounge area. Water, tea and coffee will also be available. All food and beverages are included in your registration.

Can I bring my own water bottle?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle and you can refill at water stations located around the venue.

What kind of screenings will be available?

Accepted Answer

UCHealth Healthy Hearts will provide a complimentary Biometric Screening. Stroke Risk Assessment. Functional Movement Screening. Hearing Assessment.

Question 15

What kind of vendors will be on site?

Accepted Answer

A variety of boutiques, health foods and home goods will be onsite in the vendor village. We’ll have fitness demos available from vendors such as Elite Speed and StrechLab.
