Frequently asked questions

Is this class self paced?

Kind of! You get to watch your EBB videos in your parent portal on your own time and schedule. Then, each week we will meet virtually to practice, answer questions, and discuss the topics even further. You get access to your parent portal for 3-6 months to rewatch what you need!

Can my partner join?

YES! We encourage partners/support people to join in, this class is just as much for them as it is for the birthing person. Partners find the course immensely helpful for them on how to support their partners during labor and birth.

Can my doula come?

There are options for doulas to join, email me at jenhindsmed@gmail.com for more information on this.

When is the best time in pregnancy to take this course?

We typically encourage folks to start this course around 30 weeks of pregnancy. However, people earlier and later than that have certainly benefitted from taking it when it works best for them and their family.

What if I can't make one of the Zoom meetings?

We typically allow 1 missed class, but if the schedule beyond missing 1 doesn't work, we can look into setting up a private class schedule that works better for you and your family.
