Evidence Based Birth Childbirth Class

Are you looking for a childbirth class that gives you the flexibility of learning online, but also the support and encouragement from an instructor?

This flipped-classroom model includes 5 modules of online learning to watch at your own pace paired with mentorship from Bridget, your EBB Instructor. Mentorship includes four classes with Bridget and classmates to prepare for the labor process and practice your labor skills.

This class is limited to only 6 couples.

Classes will be on consecutive Tuesdays: October 1st through October 22nd starting @ 7 pm CST.

Does this class support my birth preferences?

Evidence Based Birth® believes that every person has their own unique path. Instead of focusing on medicated vs. unmedicated birth, we focus on giving you tools and helping you learn the evidence, so that you can be empowered to make your own decisions! We do have an emphasis on non-pharmaceutical comfort measures, because they include high-leverage and transferable skills in the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods while also discussing ways to have empowered births no matter your preferences or your unique birthing experience.

Class Format:
Meeting start date: Tuesday, October 1st starting at 7:00PM CST and subsequent Tuesdays totaling 4 virtual meetings.

1. Virtual Meeting 1 : Discussion of EBB® Childbirth Class Orientation online material and Birth timeline activity. (1 hour)
2. Virtual Meeting 2 - Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 1 and 2 of the online learning modules. (1.5 hours)
3. Virtual Meeting 3 - Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 3 and 4 of the online learning modules. (1.5 hours)
4. Virtual Meeting 4 - discussion of online material from Week 5, practical walk through birth timeline, discussion of Postpartum care for family and newborn. (1.5 hours)

If for any reason, you are unable to attend one virtual meeting, please communicate that at our first meeting. We will schedule one alternative 20-minute session, one on one with the instructor.

Additional 3 Months of Online Access: $25

Basic pricing includes 3 month access. Getting 6 full months of access to your Evidence Based Birth® Academy is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are more than 3 months from your estimated due date.

Physical Workbook: $15

Basic pricing includes a digital version of the workbook. This option gets you a hard copy spiral bound workbook. No additional shipping fee.

Private Class: $150

A private class covers the same material with you setting up the meeting times that work best for you and your instructor and being able to have all of the focus on you, your preferences, and your experience.

Private Birth Plan Session: $45
