Each show is 100% unique, as a carefully curated lineup of performers is guided through high energy, creative, danceable grooves and beautiful songs that you won't believe are created on the fly under the creative leadership of Matt’s cues and improvised whiteboard directives. Unlike other one-off “super jams”, Everyone Orchestra does not borrow from other artists’ song lists, but rather draws on the funky, jazzy, soulful, electronic, and Americana roots of the musicians who come together in a consistently stunning display of raw talent and imaginative improvisation. Audience engagement also sets EO apart; fans are brought into the magic on-the-fly when Matt turns his whiteboard around to share a hand written theme for the next song (you might see “Funk in A”, or “Space Jam”), or a chorus for the crowd to join in the rhythm. Having conducted members of bands ranging from the Grateful Dead to The Meters, Ween, King Crimson, Phish, Jane's Addiction and hundreds more, Matt Butler has mastered the art of drawing the best and most multi-dimensional talents of performers from all genres and backgrounds, pulling the sounds together in an extraordinary cohesive experience that you don't want to miss. Eggy : Jam band out of New Haven, CT creating a fresh, but familiar sound - The band presents a timeless vision of songwriting both lyrically and in composition. Eggy is able to supplement their 4 part vocal harmonies with fluid instrumental improvisation.
