Everyday Mentoring

Everyday Mentoring

Goodwin UniversityEast Hartford, CT
Monday, Sep 14 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm EDT
Overview

We equip adults with the tools they need to build strong, trust-centered relationships with young people.

Location: Community Room at Goodwin University

This workshop is designed for anyone who interacts with a young person—parents, caregivers, mentors, coaches, volunteers, neighbors, and anyone who wants to show up well for youth. If a young person is in your life, this session can help you support them with more confidence and clarity.

Through hands-on activities, we’ll explore what makes youth–adult relationships strong and why everyday interactions matter.

Participants gain communication strategies, relational awareness, and developmental insights they can apply right away, along with opportunities to practice real-world problem-solving in a supportive environment.

To ensure lasting impact, we also provide ongoing support resources, coaching touchpoints, and opportunities to continue strengthening and refining your skills.

The goal is simple: give caring adults everything they need to show up consistently, effectively, and authentically for the young people in their lives.

This training is eligible for 4 CEUs through the Connecticut Certification Board upon completion.
