About this event

Calling all new and returning Everybody Reads summer educators! The Human Rights Commission - in partnership with the SF Public Library, MAGIC-SF, and Collective Impact - invites you to the Everybody Reads Summer 2024 Service Provider Workshop.

Join us for a workshop highlighting culturally affirming and relevant BIPOC books and curriculum, and best practices for creating space for our young readers to set their goals and follow their dreams.

Everybody Reads provides books and materials to service providers and caregivers to support the broader community to disrupt out-of-school-time learning loss.

These workshops are in person, refreshments will be provided.

Workshops:

Wednesday, May 8 from 10:30am - 12:30pm at the Bayview/Linda Brooks-Burton Public Library

or

Tuesday, May 21 from 12pm-2pm at the Fillmore Heritage Center
