Evenings are a wonderful time in the park to be on the water. This year we are offering a family oriented late-day paddle on the water that is sure to be a wonderful adventure for everyone involved. Alongside a paddle guide, you will paddle along Belmont Bay and enter a pristine marsh environment known as Kane's Creek. There you may encounter secretive wildlife such as beaver, turtles, fox, heron, and even our nation's symbol, the Bald Eagle!
While these are family friendly adventures please note: Children 5 and under are NOT permitted in boats. Children 6-12 must be in a tandem kayak with a parent or legal guardian. Children 13-17 may paddle alone in a boat but must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian on the same tour.
Please arrive on time at the car-top boat launch to get fitted with PFDs and receive basic paddling instructions. Boats will be launched once the safety briefing is complete, 30 minutes after the start of the program. Water, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and closed toed shoes are required. Check the FAQ for more information.
Reservations are required. Cost of reservation is $20 per person and includes all paddle equipment and parking. Each ticket holds a reservation for one person. Reservations are not complete until payment is made to the park.
Request for refunds can be made up to seven days before the event. Requests made less than seven days from the event can only be offered to reschedule to another paddle tour.
