Ethics Seminar

The mission of the Centeris to lead the development of Bowen family systems theory into a science of human behavior and to assist individuals, families, communities, and organizations in solving major life problems through understanding and improving human relationships. The Center carries out its mission locally, nationally, and internationally through its training programs, conferences, research, clinical services, audiovisual materials, and publications. The Georgetown Family Center is an educational, research, and clinical center incorporated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the District of Columbia.

Four ethics CEUs will be offered at this conference.

As the live engagement in discussion is an essential aspect of Bowen Center conferences, recordings of the Ethic Seminar will not be available. Please consider <a href="https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=E168236&id=6" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">donating to The Bowen Center. </a>This conference will identify common ethical dilemmas of confidentiality, dual relationship and reporting in clinical practice and in work settings. Participants will consider ethics through the lens of Bowen theory and be provided opportunity to develop practical strategies for thinking about ethical dilemmas. Presentations will utilize case study, reflection and didactic engagement.
