Dr Gillian Crawford, consultant genetic counsellor from University Hospital Southampton N HS Foundation Trust will be giving the talk.


With significant developments in genomic testing techniques over the past decade which have led to an increase in the ability to confirm genetic diagnoses; with opportunities for early detection, treatment and prevention, comes ethical and societal considerations. The talk will consider a range of ethical issues that can arise with genetic testing. There will also be an opportunity to explore and discuss some case studies together.
