Please join us for this 4 hour extensive training on the Ethical Dilemmas at End of Life presented by Risa Hanau,MSW, LCSW. This ethics session will provide an overview of ethical principles and how they are applicable to those who are nearing the end of life. Case studies and discussion will be utilized to explore common dilemmas that are encountered by clinicians in various practice settings and how to address them. Focus will be placed on addressing the lived experience of the dying person and how to preserve dignity. Clinicians will be encouraged to self-assess for signs of moral distress and become familiar with resources available to address this.
