This three-part series presented by Fulbright Scholar Marco Vangelisti will give you answers in plain English, get you thinking, and inspire you.
September 13: Part 1: Money and banking
What's behind the money and banking system, and why does it wield so much power? Learn the surprising story of how money is created — and the results.
October 18: Part 2: Our economic system
Why are we working harder but feel less secure? Why are the benefits going to a small percentage of the population? Can we make the economy more compassionate and just?
October 25: Part 3: Our financial system
Why is financial capital divorced from productive activity, and how can we fix it? Learn how communities are transforming investment to be local, democratic, and productive.
