Erotic IFS: New Pathways to Sexual Expansiveness, Pleasure and Intimacy Through The Six S’s Framework
Erotic aliveness transcends any specific sexual act or body part. Our embodied life force energy drives our passion, warms our relationships, and generates creativity and connection in the bedroom and beyond. It counters feelings of disconnection and depression which are rampant in today’s world, and helps people to feel motivation, pleasure, and potency. It can be expressed in infinite ways, alone or with others, but also can be hidden and hard to find. Our sense of erotic aliveness may be frozen with our exiles, distrusted by managers, relegated to firefighters, or weighed down by oppressive forces within and without. The worldview and methods of IFS have much to contribute to the cultivation of erotic aliveness, especially when combined with the presenter’s conceptualization of The Six S’s of Sexual Self Energy which can serve as Parts Detectors, Positive Trailheads, and Erotic Roadmaps. Whether you work with individuals, relationships, or are interested in your own personal growth, The Six S’s Framework offers an accessible and transformational guide. This workshop will include didactic and experiential content and all activities are voluntary and will be in accordance with professional level boundaries.
This presentation assumes basic knowledge of the IFS model. There is no training prerequisite to attend.
