Erie Hack 2019: High School Hack

We help tech startups and local businesses launch and grow. We are an incubator and accelerator. We support businesses with coworking and office space, meeting space and event space. We also connect entrepreneurs to resources, and learning and networking events in Detroit.

Erie Hack is inviting all high school students to compete for $1,600 in prizes and development support for the best solutions to Lake Erie’s most pressing challenges.
You’ll spend the day forming teams, creating ideas, and pitching to expert judges. This event is designed for classes, clubs, or individuals who are passionate about conservation. Come with a team, or join one that day. Come ready to hack!
AGENDA 10:00: Open Registration 10:15 – 10:30: Welcome and Introductions 10:30 – 10:45: Challenge Statement Overview 10:45 – 11:15: Team Formation 11:15 – 12:00: Working Lunch 12:00-12:15: Break 12:15 – 1:30: Refine Ideas into Solutions 1:30 – 2:30: Mentor Sessions and Final Pitch Preparation 2:30 – 3:45: Pitch Contest 3:45 – 4:00: Award Ceremony and Prizes 4:00: Closing and Departure

Free, public parking is located on Amersterdam, between Woodward and Cass Avenues. The Industry Innovation Center is located directly across the street from TechTown at 461 Burroughs.
