Join the Mitchell Opera House in welcoming Eric & The Iconics this July 20th at 7pm!
Born from Eric’s desire to play his favorite music from his youth, Eric & The Iconics is a dream group made up of some of the most talented and versatile musicians in Kentuckiana. Made up of members from the Rigbys, Brutally Handsome, The Dave Meland Band, The Bottle Trees, The Kerr-Miller Band, Drops of Mercy and more, they’re willing to bet that you won’t find cover bands playing about 80-90% of the songs they play.
Touching on Pop, Rock, Motown, R&B favorites and “seldom heard” gems of the 1960s and 1970s. From The Temptations to Al Greene, to ELO, From Etta James to Dusty Springfield to The Staples Singers and everything in between. And yes, for those of you who miss your leisure suit and platform shoes, they will even add in a dash of disco!
So come on down, sit back, tap your foot and enjoy some music from a vibrant, colorful, yet simpler time. Eric and The Iconics will take you back to those good times one song at a time!
Tickets are $25 for adults and $13 for kids 12 and under.
