Do I need prior experience to attend?

Anyone curious is welcome! We’ll review the basics and build on them with discussion and demonstrations. Having some background in animal behavior science will help you get the most out of the lecture, but it’s not required if you’re comfortable learning as you go.

Can I ask questions about my own horse?

Yes! Anna's time is yours! There will be time built in for discussion and troubleshooting, though we may not be able to dive deep into every individual case.  During the workshop, small groups will have a chance to practice training a behavior of their choice.

Is the driveway hard to find?

Not anymore! We have a brand new blue and white sign at the beginning of our driveway that says MISTY STEP STABLES. Plenty of parking at the end of the driveway by the barn.

How does the Hands-On Workshop work?

Our generous Demo Horses that live here at Misty Step Stables have volunteered to work with our lecture participants for the hands on workshop portion of this third lecture in our four-part series. You’ll get to choose what to work on based on your interests, group and assigned Demo Horse.
