The EQSA partners are pleased to invite you to our first Equipment & Materials Qualification technical conference.

About this Event

Join us at Bristol University on Wednesday 18th September 2019 where we will be discussing the key issues and areas affecting operators and the supply chain when planning the qualifying of materials, components and systems.

You can expect:

• A FREE full day technical seminar

• Live, on -site testing demonstrations

• Updates on the latest standards, regulation changes, and best practice

• Q&A sessions and networking with industry experts, including ONR (Office for Nuclear Regulation)

What will the day include?

With discussions including: Strategic planning and programming of EQ tests, Seismic and Irradiation testing, as well as EC&I smart device testing. The day will provide the opportunity to discuss how to improve your existing design and testing processes.

Agenda

You can expect to attend EQ presentations, Q+A sessions and live demonstrations, all held by our industry experts, giving you the opportunity to discuss key areas of interest.

There will be several guest speakers in attendance, including presentations from Gavin Smith from ONR on "Regulatory Perspective on EQ", Richard McLaren, HPC EQ lead, Alan Poole from Wood on "Qualification of smart devices/EC&I" and industry led sessions and presentations from:

Tecnatom: "LOCA for I& C"

Element: "Seismic Qualification and Demonstration"

Wood: "Materials Qualification, Ageing and Obsolescence"

And many more.

To sum up the day, there will be a panel session with our experts on a range of topics including seismic, irradiation, sequencing and interfaces.

Lunch

A free buffet lunch is provided, and refreshments will be provided throughout the day giving you the opportunity to meet and network with peers in a relaxed setting.
