This is a two session class – please be sure to see the scheduled dates for both sessions. Create a stunning river mini-board using beautiful hardwoods and colored epoxy. This beginner-friendly class is split into two sessions to allow time for the epoxy to properly cure between steps. Learn the techniques used to prepare an epoxy river mini-board (about the size of a cutting board). Learn the fundamentals of building molds, leak control, clamping, shaping, sanding, and finishing. Learn how to calculate the needed quantity of resin and hardener; mix, color/tint; and pour the epoxy into the prepared mold. During the second session, after the epoxy has cured, learn how to use standard woodworking tools and techniques to finish the project.
