Epic Marvel: Infinity Six (July 14th)

Join us for an epic adventure unlike any you've had before! We're switching things up this time and playing Marvel Multiverse RPG, the hot new superhero TTRPG! If you've played D&D 5e before, this game will feel very familar (the only major change being the core dice system). If you've never played D&D 5e before, that's even better, this is a great game to try out whether you've played dozens of TTRPGs or haven't tried one ever before. Either way, game rules will be explained at the top of this one and cheat sheets will be on hand! Alright, enough about the system, let's talk about the adventure!

Players take on the role of superheroes in the world of Marvel! Without giving too many spoilers, Epic Marvel: Infinity Six, will call on multiple teams of heroes to join forces and rise up against a threat unlike any we've seen before. These teams include: Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Defenders, Midnight Sons, and Young Avengers/Champions. That's right, one of you will play as Wolverine and someone else will be She-Hulk!

Unlike previous Tipsy Bard Epics, this time YOU'LL BE ASSIGNED A CHARACTER IN ADVANCE based on a short survey sent out. Once you get your character, we will send you a character packet and tips for cosplaying your character! If that sounds like a lot of pressure, don't worry - none of that is required. We've found that folks who cosplay have just as much fun as those who don't! Furthermore, we'll do our best to help you get a character you like or know but depending on your level of fandom, you may be assigned a character you've never heard of before - and that's okay! In the character packet, you'll find a backstory and tips for roleplaying the character but once again, these are just there to help you feel comfortable. At the end of the day, we want you to make the character your own just like any other game!

For those who have joined us for an Epic before, we will be returning to The Black Box in the historic West Bottoms where we will once again have access to a full bar and food. With a playing space focused solely on our event, we are able to add lights and sound to really immerse ourselves into the world of the game. Additionally, miniatures and terrain maps will be utilized throughout the game.

Note: Drinks and Food are not included with ticket price.

This in-person event runs from 11:30am-5:30pm on both Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th, 2024. We will be running the same adventure both days and it is therefore not recommended that a player attends both events unless they want to experience it twice. That being said, the nature of TTRPGs allows for each game to be somewhat different so who knows what changes may occur due to player decisions.

Your ticket gets you:

• Six unforgettable hours of RPG fun complete with intricate tabletop miniatures, lighting, sound and immersive encounters all led by experienced Game Masters.
• Two (2) raffle tickets allowing you the chance to win some great prizes.

Important Info:

• Check-In begins at 11am. At check-in you'll receive a character packet with all you need as well as two (2) raffle tickets.
• This event is intended for adults 18+.
• Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
• A fully stocked bar will be available at a seperate cost. For those who don't drink alochol; sodas, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic options are also available.
• You Wanna Pizza Me? food truck will be on-site and available at a separate cost. Additional food options are currently being discussed and not yet confirmed but know that we will provide updates as they come.
• Everything needed to play will be provided including character sheets, dice, and pencils. That being said, personal dice ARE allowed if you'd prefer to bring your own. Note that this game utilizes 3d6. Ideally, two dice of one color and one die of a different color.
• We'll be using pre-generated characters for ease of use. These characters range between Rank 2-6 and have been chosen specifically for this adventure. At this time, homemade characters AREN'T allowed for play.
• No Marvel Multiverse RPG experience is necessary, although it will be helpful, so feel free to read up beforehand. Player aids will be sent out in advance to help you prepare.
