<h3>EPIC ADVENTURE</h3><h3>Getting Started in Game Development with Unreal Engine</h3>Location: UNCG’s Esports Arena, Moran Building, Room 109 Date: September 27 Time: Registration Opens 8:00 AM | Program: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM Free Game Play: 2:30 PM – 4:30PM <h3>About the Event</h3>Join us for an EPIC ADVENTURE into game development with Unreal Engine. This hands-on program introduces participants to programming, game development, and Unreal Engine, guiding them as they create their first 3D platform game.What to Expect:<ul><li>Digital safety and game development history</li><li>Navigating Unreal Engine and writing code</li><li>Building and debugging your first game</li><li>Collision detection and platform mechanics</li></ul>By the end of this event, participants will have built their first game and gained valuable programming skills in a creative and supportive environment.This event is open to all abilities for middle school, high school, and college students. Scouting America members will earn the Programming Merit Badge, and all participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. <h3>Why Attend?</h3><ul><li>Skill Development – Gain hands-on experience in programming and game development</li><li>Networking – Connect with fellow gamers, programmers, and future collaborators</li><li>Well-Being – Develop creativity in a positive and supportive environment</li></ul> <h3>Event Details</h3><ul><li>Breakfast and lunch provided for registered participants</li><li>Viewing area available for caretakers and guests (only registered participants permitted inside the program area)</li><li>Parking – All participants should park in the Walker Parking Deck and walk to the Esports Arena.
