Envision Greater Green Bay is pleased to host World Futures Day on March 1 of each year. We first joined the world celebration in 2022, featuring a "trend watcher" from London, England, for an exploration of the implications of unbridled consumption, radical transparency in branding, the “metaverse,” and the dawn of the age of healing. In 2023 we brought futurist Thomas Frey from the Da Vinci Institute. He explained "the big picture," noting that "the future creates the present, just the opposite of what people think. Change their vision of the future, and you change the way they make decisions today.” And now, in 2024, we welcome futurist John Smart to lead us on a journey to local greatness by examining the 12 key areas we can impact to shape a preferred future for Greater Green Bay.
