Entrepreneurship Multi-Program Information Session

The Center for Regional Economic Advancement (CREA) at Cornell University leverages academic and industrial assets in New York state to enrich economic diversity.CREAprograms support innovative and entrepreneurial ideas that will create jobs -- in all fields -- throughout the state. TheCREAteam oversees initiatives that include entrepreneurship mentorship, Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, Hardware Scaleup, the Southern Tier Startup Alliance (STSA), Cornell Engineering Commercialization Fellows, and the 76West Clean Energy Competition (in partnership with NYSERDA).

Getting serious about entrepreneurship?   Discover fall programs you should apply for! Join this interactive info session to learn about four of Cornell’s premier startup programs all in one place and get your applications ready for next fall.     Hear mini presentations on eLab, Kessler Fellows, BET, and W.E. Cornell and then get your chance to ask questions.     Entrepreneurship Programs:  <ul><li><a href="https://www.elabstartup.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eLab</a>: Accepted students spend a year preparing to launch their startups while earning credits and pitching to alumni. eLab alumni startups have raised over $253M in capital.    </li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://www.engineering.cornell.edu/students/undergraduate-students/entrepreneurial-options-undergrad-students/kessler-fellows-program" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kessler Fellows:</a> Juniors studying in a STEM-related-field engage in a spring semester immersion program, for one credit, that prepares them for their summer internship with a startup. They receive an internship stipend and assistance with travel costs.   </li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://crea.cornell.edu/project/black-entrepreneurs-in-training/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Black Entrepreneurs in Training (BET)</a>: Led by students, Black Entrepreneurs in Training is a community for Black students to learn about the world of entrepreneurship over the fall and spring semesters.  </li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://eship.cornell.edu/item/we-cornell/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WE Cornell:</a>  Women Entrepreneurs at Cornell empowers STEM women to take leadership roles and mentors them as they prepare to commercialize their innovations over one or two semesters.   </li></ul>  Accessibility:Please contact Monika Crosby (mlc258@cornell.edu) at least three days prior to the event with any accessibility needs.Participate Online:To login to the live event on event day, click the &quot;Access the event&quot; button to the right.
