Entrepreneurship Certificate Program (Spring 2019)

Helping you prepare for 21st century jobs, UC San Diego innovation and entrepreneur groups have teamed together to deliver this timely series. Learn about the basic elements when developing an idea and starting a business. The program is CCR-approved, you must complete at least 6 sessions for CCR credit, applicable to students. The general public can receive a certificate for attending 6 out of the 8 sessions.
Spring 2019 schedule is below and all the sessions will be Thursday evenings from 6pm - 8pm.

LOCATION: Room 101 - Nierenberg Hall @ Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Shellback Way, La Jolla CA (https://goo.gl/maps/HG4WDeDjXR22), Map pdf.
SIO campus shuttle from Mandeville Center has a stop at Nierenberg Hall. Room 101 is on the first floor, southwest corner of the building (8810 on map pdf).

  • April 11, 2019: Intellectual Property Primer

  • April 18, 2019: Business Model Generation

  • April 25, 2019: Financing Your Startup

  • May 2, 2019: Customer and Market Development

  • May 9, 2019: Building Your Team / Social Enterprises

  • May 16, 2019: Triton Entrepreneur Night
    (5:30pm-8:30pm in Atkinson Hall, Jacobs School of Engineering)

  • May 23, 2019: Student presentations

To be eligible for the Co Curricular Credit, undergraduate students must attend 6 classes.
