PLANTADAS


PLANTADAS is a labor of love, an important work to honor political prisoners who were victims of communism. It shows the difficulties faced by Cuban women who fought against Fidel Castro in the early 1960s. Armed with conviction and bravery, these mothers, sisters, granddaughters, and wives paid the price of sacrificing their own freedom for their country's freedom. The film is a denunciation of Castro's crimes against Cuban women. It is a fictional film inspired by real events in their homeland.

A tribute to these women who spent the best years of their lives in captivity for the cause of Cuba's freedom.
