Project Based Learning (PBL) makes learning come alive for students. In this workshop, you will learn how OST teachers at Children's Village have specifically incorporated Art, Math, and Science into their PBL Lesson Plans and how to incorporate those ideas at your program. Learn how to create fun learning activities that incorporate dance, music, measurement, graphs, experimentation, and observation.
Directions: Children's Village is located at 125 N. 8th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106, on 8th Street between Arch St. and Race St. There is no free parking at our site but plenty of lots you can pay to park in. There is also some limited metered street parking. We recommend that you take public transportation if possible. There are a number of buses you can take or we are located within walking distance of the following subway/regional rail stations:11th Street stop of Market-Frankford Line, Chinatown stop of Broad Street Line, and East exit of Jefferson Station.
Our center is in a large multi-story building. When you enter the lobby, you can let the attendant know you are here to attend a training. Please proceed to the 2nd floor to check in at our Front Desk. If you have any issues, please call our main number at (215) 931-0190.
