This in-person event is designed to assess your current level of English proficiency and place you in the appropriate course. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, our test will help you find the right fit.
Our team of experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you through the test and answer any questions you may have. Don't miss this opportunity to take the first step towards mastering the English language.
Please arrive at the location at least 15 minutes before the start time to check in and get settled. We look forward to seeing you there!

You must bring is a valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport - no copies or pictures accepted). The Testing Center willy supply all other materials for your Placement Test.
The English Placement Test test consists of reading comprehension questions and also measures students’ abilities to compose a college-level essay. Spelling, grammar, and style are taken into consideration when the English Placement Test is evaluated by English faculty.
Students must complete the English Placement Test at least 5 business days before they intend to register for classes at an Orientation session or with a college Advisor.
Your English Placement Test will be scored within 3 - 5 business days upon completion. Your score will be automatically loaded into the Testing page of your Student Portal (my.ccc.edu); you will NOT receive an email with your score.
English Placement Test scores are valid for two (2) calendar years from the date that the test was taken.
Special testing accommodations must be approved by the Disability Access Center Director prior to taking the English Placement Test. To begin the process of receiving accommodations, please log onto to your student portal at my.ccc.edu and click on the ACCESS Center tab.
