Aperçu

Come see which engineering path may be right for you; transfer or our hands-on Electronics or Mechatronics Technology programs.

Are you interested in earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, etc.) from a university? Would you like to embark on a challenging, rewarding, and well-paying career path with opportunities for career advancement in as little as two years? If you answered yes to either of these questions, we hope you will join us for one of our virtual information sessions. Hosted by the Chair of AACC’s engineering department, you will learn how the transfer process works, where AACC students transfer to, key components of the engineering degree programs, and how our transfer programs relate to the various engineering transfer programs available at neighboring universities.

In addition, we will introduce you to our two-year Mechatronics Engineering and Electronics Engineering Technology programs. Students completing either of these programs are interested in obtaining a job (as a mechanical or electronics technician) at the completion of their studies at AACC. We will provide an overview of the technical course requirements of the degrees, the embedded career development opportunities, our job placement support services, and career outlook.

Our session will be hosted on the Zoom platform. If you do not have a computer handy no worries, you can join via phone by either calling in or using the zoom app.

Okay, now it's time for you to take action! Take that step, click the green "register" button above and join us to see if a career in engineering is the future for you!

*Note: Even though during the pandemic many of our courses are online, being local to the Arnold MD location is a requirement. Many of our courses require the use of lab equipment, this equipment is located at our campus and must be picked up and returned in person by the enrollee as shipping due to size and weight constraints is not an option.

If you have any questions prior to the event, or if you have trouble registering please contact Prof. Beth Baran: engineering@aacc.edu or Ms. Peggy Walton: plwalton@aacc.edu for assistance.
