Engineering Design Camp
Get ready to geek out and build some cool stuff with fellow tinkerers at a hands-on design adventure!
Engineering Design Camp
In the morning, our Designers will have hands-on experience coding and designing using various platforms. This will engage our students directly with principles, reinforcing our theoretical concepts. A 30-minute aerobic activity will be held before lunch where students can improve fitness and enhance coordination, balance and agility. Teamwork and effective communication will be a focus.
In the afternoon, our young engineers will gain hands-on experience by constructing basic structures (3D Printing) and applying various constraints. This practical approach helps students understand abstract concepts such as forces, motion, balance, and geometry through direct observation and experimentation. By testing how different constraints affect structure and performance, they develop a deeper understanding of cause and effect.
Grade 4 - Grade 7 students will also engage in real-time decision-making, encouraging critical and creative thinking. An additional 30-minute aerobic activity will take place in the afternoon to keep energy and focus high.
