About this event

We are so excited to announce that our Santa Maria End of the Year Celebration and Entrepreneur Fair will be a combined event this year!

May 8th, 1:00-3:00 at Rotary Centennial Park in Santa Maria.

We will begin at 1:00 with our Heartland entrepreneurs selling their fabulous goods. Then, a team of actors from PCPA will engage our students in a fun activity. There will be plenty of additional opportunities for students to socialize and enjoy themselves. HSTs will all be there to say Hi; so come join the fun! We hope to see all of our families there as we wrap up an amazing school year!

PCPA's performance will begin at 2p. They are thrilled to present PCPA PROUD: 60 years on the Central Coast—a 45-minute review that weaves the company’s rich history and profound impact using the artistic cannon of songs, monologues, bits and anecdotes performed on our stages. This trip down memory lane will not only have you singing songs from some of our most popular shows, but it will also leave you asking, “What else will PCPA do next?”

Everyone who attends this event must reserve a free ticket here on Eventbrite. (That includes sellers, buyers, students, parents, siblings, babies, etc…Everyone must have a ticket!)

In addition to reserving tickets on Eventbrite, those who would like to sell items must also click THIS LINK and complete the jotform by April 24th, otherwise you will not be registered to sell. Please read the following information:

What can my student sell?

Do my products need to be handmade? Ideally, yes! You may sell handmade products, homegrown produce, repurposed items, etc....Feel free to be creative!

It is open-ended! Food (NO PEANUTS ALLOWED), crafts, products, service (for example, face-painting), carnival games (it costs to play), etc.

Is it with real money?
Yes! It’s the student’s own business, so they set the price and they make the money. Please help your student secure their money. For example, they could wear a fanny pack or a parent could man the cashbox. **Please bring your own coins and paper money to make change when selling your products.

Advertising:
Please be sure to have a sign to advertise your booth, what you are selling, and prices of the items.

If my student wants to leave their booth, what happens?
We are not responsible for your vendor booth. If you want to leave and become an attendee, you need to make sure you organize someone to watch your booth.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends an event must be registered through Eventbrite. This applies to babies, toddlers, siblings, and adults. PLEASE RESERVE A TICKET FOR EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY.

Check-in Procedures: Entrepreneurs check in at 12:30 to set up. Other attendees check in at 1:00.
