THIS IS A THREE-DAY COURSE

Our EMT IV and Medication Courses are offered for EMT Basic, who have a valid EMT Basic certification in the State of Colorado.

The Class starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM for all three days.

This course has been approved for EMTs by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Emergency Services Trauma Division.


The cost of this class is $375.

❗Please do not pay for the class unless you meet all of the criteria.❗

These requirements are mandatory and set forth by the CDPHE.

To be accepted into the class, you must:

1). Provide proof of your State of Colorado EMT Basic Certification.

2). Provide proof of unexpired Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute.

3). Provide proof of current flu vaccination .

4). Provide proof of COVID vaccination.

5). Provide a copy of your Driver's License.

6). Pass a background check (which can be your Colorado certification since you had to obtain a background check in order to become certified). A new background check will be done once you sign up for class. This will include using your social security number to check for a criminal history to include domestic violence and the sex offender registry.

7). Understand that you will be starting 5 IVs on live patients. We will assist you in scheduling your time out on an ambulance at HealthOne Location.

8). Understand that we do offer financial assistance. You can also call Pikes Peak Workforce Center at (719) 667-3700. If you qualify, PPWC will pay for your full tuition. If you do not qualify, we will make arrangements for you as we do have full scholarships to award to individual cases.

9). Provide proof of professional Liability Insurance.
