Empty Bowls Take-Out. Fundraiser for Shelter House and Thunder Bay Food Bank. Select a pottery bowl to take home with a 20 oz jar of soup.

Thank you for supporting the 25th annual Empty Bowls Thunder Bay fundraising event in support of Shelter House Thunder Bay and the Thunder Bay Food Bank.

This ticket is for the TAKE-OUT event only.

Here's what you need to know:

• Pick up will be between 1:30 and 3:30pm, and will be outdoors.
• If driving, please take Sibley Drive off of Balmoral Street, and park in any of the Green or Blue Lots (the closest lots will be B, O, or D). See map below.Enter the Moose Hall through the front doors (into the bar area) between 1:30-3:30pm.
• Do not park in the Red Lot.
• Do not Park in the “Drop off Loop”, this area must be kept clear for Emergency Vehicles.
• Please consider bringing a non-perishable donation for the Shelter House Food Drive
• Select a locally handcrafted pottery bowl to take home as a reminder of those who struggle with food insecurity and have nothing but an Empty Bowl.
• Pick up a 20 oz jar of soup (vegan and gluten-free available).
• Bring cash to purchase a handmade quilted microwave-safe bowl cozy to keep your fingertips cool while re-heating food in bowls.
• Please be patient if there is a line up. Everyone must “check in” first. The Potters have provided plenty of bowls to choose from. The soups have been made by Chef Tanner Harris at the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA).
