Juanita Walker serves as the Owner/CEO of Sheyes of Miami Learning Centers which has four establishments including one elementary school and the president of the newly established organization "Sheyes of Miami Foundation". The private business has been in operation for over 30 years, providing childcare services to some of the most economically disadvantaged communities in Miami-Dade County. All their centers are fully accredited and highly rated. The organization also subsidizes many student activities and trips around the state, aiding in the educational goals and familial bond of the students. Furthermore, the she has been with the City of Miami Police Department since 1974, serving the community for 35 years.
