<h3>Empowered Period Workshop</h3> Join us on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Heart of Houston Birth and Wellness Center for an empowering womb-centered workshop for menstrual education. This in-person event for youth ages 12-17 will start at 10:00 AM. During the workshop, we will dive deep into understanding the menstrual cycle from an empowered, womb-centered perspective. The Chrysalis Colective will provide valuable insights and tips to help youth embrace their period with deep knowledge and intuition. Come and connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and learn from each other in a supportive and inclusive environment. This is an LGBTQ+ affirming space open to youth of all gender identities. What we’ll do:<ul><li>Learn about the menstrual cycle hormones and how to connect with the different phases.</li><li>Physically connect with our wombs by finding them and performing womb massage</li><li>Create empowering period art</li><li>Mindfullness and meditative connection</li></ul>We'd love to connect with you further!
