We are pleased to invite expressions of interest from health professionals and researchers to attend the launch event of Endometriosis Management and Promotion Of Wellbeing using Evidence-based Research (EMPOWER) in Aberystwyth.
EMPOWER, is a new interdisciplinary research network dedicated to improving care and wellbeing for those living with endometriosis. As a group we have expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating public health interventions across the disciplines of Data Science, Physiotherapy and Health Services Research, Psychology, Social Care, Public Health, and Biomedical Sciences. We are based across 5 Welsh Universities (Bangor University, Aberystwyth University, Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and Swansea University).
EMPOWER aims to advance evidence-based research, strengthen collaboration across disciplines, and ensure that patient insights remain central to shaping future care. Your expertise and perspective would be invaluable to this work.

EMPOWER members will showcase a series of short presentations in the morning highlighting our current work and what our aims moving forward are. From late morning onwards, attendees will take part in group discussions aimed at identifying research priorities/themes before a final all group discussion where there will be an opportunity to engage in a priority setting exercise.
