Learn about how to become a second chance employer us through a panel discussion with IGH Steel, Coregistics, Boone County Community Corrections & Indiana Department of Workforce Development presented by the Boone EDC. This event is a lunch and learn series and the cost of a ticket includes lunch.


The Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations.

Event Cancellation by Boone EDC

The Boone EDC reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Boone EDC cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an individual ticket is five business days before the event. The Boone EDC will refund the cost minus any fees the Boone EDC incurred by the ticket company. For example, for a $15 expense, the Boone EDC must pay $0.74 in fees. If a refund is issued at the request of the registrant per this policy, the Boone EDC will lose those fees.

The deadline to receive a refund for group purchases/tables is 10 business days before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted in writing via email only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.

All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.

These above policies apply to all Boone EDC events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
