Shawndra Miller is an energy worker, intuitive, and writer who lives in Irvington. Her 15-year quest to recover from chronic illness opened the door to energy work and other complementary modalities. Now fully recovered and certified inThetaHealing, she offers a blend of intuitive/energy work to dissolve clients' blockages and enable them to embody their soul's leadings.

More and more people are opening to empathic experience, as our borders melt down and we all become more interconnected. That expansion can be a beautiful expression of shared humanity. However, it takes conscious awareness and skill to navigate this terrain. In this workshop we will cover “Care and Feeding of your Empath,” addressing questions like:
• How do we nurture a space for our spirits that allows us to clear others’ emotions and trauma from our field? • When our old habit involves taking on other people’s “stuff,” how do we create a new and healthier habit? • What practices help keep our energy humming so that we can extend ourselves in caring without becoming burdened?

--you feel drained after being in a crowd --you experience strong reactions to places or people without necessarily knowing why --you find yourself aware of other people’s unspoken emotions, stories, and blocks --you experience physical symptoms or emotional pain when listening to someone else’s painful story --your unspoken “job,” while growing up, was to take care of other people’s feelings
