Dr. Berger explores our resistance to accepting life as it is, how to align with reality to achieve freedom and emotional sobriety.
We are told, and rightfully so, that acceptance is the key to our problems. When we accept a situation as it is we become aligned with reality. Having an appropriate and honest relationship with reality is critical if we are going to increase our capacity to cope with life on life’s terms.
Learning is maturing. Our emotional development was brought to a standstill for many different reasons, so it is essential that we restore our ability to learn from our experiences if we are going to achieve emotional sobriety. This workshop will explore the barriers that create resistance to accepting reality as it is.
