Emojinationis a grassroots organization whose motto is "Emoji by the people, for the people." It is an associate member of the Unicode Consortium and aims to open up broaderdiscussions about issues in the emoji world.

A CELEBRATION OF ALL THINGS EMOJI

The second-ever Emojicon will take place in Brooklyn, New York — the Saturday before World Emoji Day.
Come discuss the evolving role of emoji in culture and branding around the world, meet members of the Unicode Consortium’s Emoji Subcommittee, and get a behind the scenes look at global leaders' emoji design processes.
Play fun emoji games, enjoy emoji-themed foods, and check out a unique curation of emoji art and design, all alongside teams of technologists, creatives, and emoji enthusiasts imagining the future of emoji.
Emojicon BK Attractions:
• Emoji Party! featuring exclusively emoji food items and an emoji photobooth.
• Conference exploring the cultural and technical worlds of emoji.
• Emoji Art Gallery.
* Games and activities, including Emoji Spelling Bee, 
 * ✨Special performance and DANCE PARTY✨ by emoji artist and performer <A HREF="http://tig.ht/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Yung Jake</A>
Emojicon Conference and Art Gallery open at 10 a.m..
Doors to the Emoji Party open at 6 p.m.
All ages welcome. Kids under 12 enter free with adult supervision. 
Ticket proceeds go to the production costs of Emojicon and supporting the artists showcasing at the event. Any additional proceeds are used to support current and future emoji proposal writers for <A HREF="http://www.emojination.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Emojination</A>.
