About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us at Lake Temescal (South entrance/area) on Saturday. Drop in any time between 2:00 and 3:30 pm for a popsicle and to learn more about Girl Scouts and how you can get involved!

This event is targeted at families living in the Emeryville, Oakland and Piedmont areas but all are welcome.

We can’t wait to meet you and your girls at our event! Volunteers and staff from Girl Scouts of Northern California will be available to answer any questions you may have about Girl Scouts and getting involved. In addition, your girls will have an opportunity to try out some Girl Scout activities.

This free event is intended for girls who are not yet members of Girl Scouts, but would like to get started on their journey. Please register in advance so we can alert you should we have to shift this event. This will also ensure we have enough materials on hand for all girls attending! Only one ticket per family is necessary.

Can’t make it? Please contact Lanica Garcia at Lgarcia@gsnorcal.org to ensure you will be included in future opportunities.

COVID Safety: Please note that we will be following all current state and local guidelines and CDC protocols regarding social distancing and masking.

Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. They explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.

Supported by adult volunteers and mentors right here in our community, as well as millions of alums around the globe, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place.
