Led by three keynote speakers—Wilderness Skills Guide, Communications Specialist, and Incident Command expert—this event will equip attendees with real-world strategies for disaster readiness.

Just bring yourself and something to take notes with. All materials, handouts, and your emergency starter bag will be provided.
Absolutely. No prior experience is necessary. This course is designed to be easy to understand, hands-on, and practical—even if you’ve never thought about emergency preparedness before.
Not strenuous ones. There may be light demonstrations, such as how to use emergency tools or build a basic go-bag, but nothing physically demanding. You’ll learn by seeing, handling, and asking questions.
Absolutely! This class can be a great opportunity to start important family conversations about emergency planning. However, please note that each ticket only covers materials and certificate for one person. Anyone who wants a certificate of completion and gear will need admission.
